  • What does a typical training week look like?
    Example workouts are depicted below. However, training programs are dependent upon which program you sign up for and the information you provide your coach. League of Shadows example week: Personalized 3-day example week:
  • Do I need online personalized programming?
    Personalized programming is beneficial to those who are just beginning their fitness journey or trying to become an elite athlete. For experienced athletes looking for a fresh take on functional fitness and to compete with others, Jekyll & Hyde's League of Shadows program is your best option.
  • Should I choose personalized fitness programming for 3 or 5 days a week?
    The key is consistency. This choice is highly dependent on your lifestyle and how your schedule will allow for consistency. We recommend 3 days a week for someone with a busy lifestyle or who is just beginning their fitness journey. If you are experienced and typically exercise 4+ days a week, we recommend 5 days a week.
  • How will I receive my personalized training program?
    You will be able to access your weekly personalized programming through personal trainer software called TrueCoach. Following your purchase of personalized programming, you will receive instructions on how to set up your account with TrueCoach and to download the application to your mobile device.
  • How will I access the League of Shadows program?
    Jekyll & Hyde's weekly functional fitness program will be available through workout of the day (WOD) software called SugarWOD. Following your purchase of this program, you will receive instructions on how to set up your account with SugarWOD. You may either download the application to your mobile device or access directly on your desktop.
  • How long will my personalized workouts be?
    Workouts will vary between 30 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes, dependent upon your individual needs. Please further discuss this with your coach.
  • How long are the workouts for the League of Shadows program?
    Our functional fitness program workouts are designed to take, on average, an hour to complete.
  • How will my training programs be personalized?
    Once you sign up for our personalized training programs, you will receive an introductory email with a questionnaire. Our questionnaire will consist of questions around your schedule, fitness level, available workout equipment, and goals to optimize your personal training program.
  • How can I communicate with my coach?
    Communication with you strength and conditioning coach will primarily be in the TrueCoach app. You will receive access to the TrueCoach app following your purchase of one of the personalized training programs. You may also refer to the contact information on our website to contact your strength and conditioning coach directly.
  • Should I warm up before my workouts?
    Yes, every program will have a prescribed warm up.
  • What if I don't know how to do a certain movement?
    There will be video walk throughs provided within the respective online programming apps for each movement prescribed in every workout. If you feel you need further instruction, please contact your coach directly to set up time to meet virtually or in person (if applicable) to learn how to properly complete your workouts.
  • Is there any fitness terminology that I should know?
    In the fitness programs you will encounter terms like EMOM, AMRAP, or 5x10. EMOM is an acronym for "every minute on the minute". This means you will complete a certain amount of work within that one minute and rest until the next minute starts. AMRAP is an acronym for "as many repetitions as possible". This acronym will be followed by a number. For example, AMRAP 10, this means you will complete as many repetitions of the prescribed workout within 10 minutes. 5x10 refers to "sets x repetitions". For example, 5x10 means you will complete one set of 10 repetitions of a movement, then rest, then your second set of 10 repetitions, until all five sets have been completed.
  • Do you offer discounts on personalized online group training?
    Yes we do. We also offer discounts on in person group personal training sessions, if available in your area. Please contact tylersmith@jekyllnhydennp.com for further details.
  • Who is the "Nutrition 101" course for?
    The Nutrition 101 course if for those who want to begin dialing in their nutrition on their own before committing to 1-on-1 nutrition coaching.
  • How long is the "Nutrition 101" course?
    The Nutrition 101 course is about 45 minutes long and doesn't have to be viewed all at once. After purchasing the course, you will receive a link to the private YouTube video that contains all the material in the course so you can leave and come back to it as often as you'd like!
  • How will I access the nutrition video courses?
    Following your purchase of a nutrition video course, you will receive a private link to view these courses on YouTube.
  • What if I have more questions after watching the "Nutrition 101" course?
    You can schedule a consult with our Head Nutrition Coach right on this website by navigating to the contact info at the bottom of each webpage. Through further conversation, you can decide whether all you needed was some extra guidance or you feel like 1-on-1 coaching is right for you. There is also a longer, more in-depth nutrition course coming Summer of 2023 for those interested in diving further into fine-tuning their nutrition on their own!
  • How will I receive my personalized nutrition program?
    Upon plan purchase, you will receive access to the TrueCoach app where your nutrition coach will track your progress. You will also likely use a nutrition tracking app such as MyFitnessPal which will link to TrueCoach.
  • Do I have to meet with my nutrition coach for personalized nutrition?
    Our nutrition coach does require a one-hour phone consultation following the purchase of a nutrition program. The purpose of this consultation is to gain understanding of your goals, needs, and/or circumstances. Following the consultation, you can communicate with your coach via text, email, or phone to personalize your nutrition plan.
  • How often should I meet with my nutrition coach?
    If you choose a personalized nutrition plan, you are required to complete a consultation with your nutrition coach. During the one-hour phone consultation, your nutrition coach will gather personal information from you to tailor the nutrition plan to your needs. Following the consultation, we recommend checking in with your nutrition coach bi-weekly through video chat or in person (if applicable). You and your coach will agree to a meeting schedule during your initial consultation.
  • I didn't receive my confirmation email.
    If you didn't receive a confirmation email after purchasing a performance and/or nutrition program, please first check you spam email folders. For further assistance, contact: info@jekyllnhydennp.com
  • How can I change my recurring payment method?
    Login to your member account. Under "My Subscriptions" click on your current program subscription and there will be options to cancel and update your payment method.
  • How can I cancel my program subscription?
    To cancel your recurring program subscription you may login to your account and cancel the subscription under "My Subscriptions" or you may contact info@jekyllnhydennp.com and we will cancel your subscription for you.
  • Can I get a refund if I cancel my monthly program?
    You may be eligible for a full refund if you cancel within 7 days of your last payment date. You may be eligible for a partial refund if you cancel 7 days after your last payment date. To request a refund, please contact info@jekyllnhydennp.com.
  • What is your return or exchange policy on apparel?
    We do NOT accept returns but we will exchange sizes. You will be responsible for return shipping as we do not provide prepaid labels. Please contact info@jekyllnhydennp.com to exchange an item.
